We are committed to maintaining the accuracy, confidentiality, and security of your personally identifiable information (“personal information”). As part of this commitment, our Privacy Policy governs our actions as they relate to the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information.   

Platinum Technologies Inc (PTI) accepts resumes and applications from individuals seeking employment. When we request personal information (name, address, email address, etc.), we will explain the reason for which we have made the request. We will not collect, use or disclose your personal information without your consent. We collect no personal information about you unless you choose to provide that information to us. Your resumes are kept on file and entered into our database for up to one year and are considered confidential.  

 The information you provide to us on your resume, employment application, related emails and/or during face to face communication is used to determine your suitability for potential employment opportunities. If we have a position available that we feel meets your requirements we will contact you for an interview. Your resume, references and/or other personal information provided at any stage of the recruitment process (including the interview) is not distributed without your knowledge. We will always obtain prior approval from you when your resume or any other personal information is submitted for consideration as part of the contract bidding and/or candidate selection process.   

When you accept an offer of employment, you will be asked for additional personal information as legally required for payroll processing (e.g. Social Insurance Number, birth date, etc.). Resumes and other personal information received by PTI through any means is securely stored to prevent access by outside parties. Our organization possesses a Secret Level Clearance with the Government of Canada and we protect your personal information to the best of our ability. We take precautions and follow industry & IT best practices to make sure your information is secure and not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed or disclosed. 

Personal, Business and Contract Information will only be used or disclosed for the purpose for which it was collected unless you have otherwise consented, or when it is required or permitted by law. Personal, Business and Contract Information will only be retained for the period of time required to fulfill the purpose for which we collected it or as may be required by law. 

The “forms” that are available through this website are strictly for the convenience of PTI employees.
